Chris suggests beginning with the end in mind and he has a series of questions to ask before the strategy. He recommends using these techniques; listening, communications, methods of the mix, community, outposts, marketplace and attention.
(4) Creating an Actual Social Media Marketing Strategy by Eric Brantner. He recommends starting with goals and then creating a strategy based on research. Once you have your strategy, build relationships, create a schedule, be patient with the process, and measure the results.
